IT BEGINS…
Started writing my thesis today. Downloaded the requisite LaTeX files and got things going. Plugged in a few words to try things out. All in all, I think I’m about done, just slap a couple of figures in that puppy and add some references, and I’m good to go.

Nice work. Especially the cliché dedication. At least throw a couple adjectives in there. Beautiful, loving, blade-wielding, domineering…you know, whatever applies.

I have to disagree here. That was the most self-involved paper I’ve ever read - and it isn’t even really written yet. Ryan Morlok was born and the world rejoiced? Hardly. We cried, shook a little, and then went in to violent, life-long, recurring seizures. And on another note: “to my wife Katy”. Dude, that’s sad. She doesn’t give a rat’s ass about your work. Dedicate it to someone who will actually appreciate the work of BS that it will be like me, ben, brogan, or dusty. Honestly, get with the program. This isn’t amatuer hour man - you’re getting a masters now. Step up, swing the bat, and hit a homer. BAM.

Oh, and on a lighter note - congrats on finally beginning with the most procrastinated thesis in the history of mankind (other than that one dude who was in the phd program for like seven years in that movie Real Genius - the guy that live in a world that started in the closet). Kudos.
